Choice guide

A single charge point at home
Then we mainly look at power, cable routing and smart charging on solar surplus.
Charging on your own solar power
Then metering and control are decisive: charging power moves with your generation.
Business charging with billing
Then connectivity and business billing lead the choice.
Multiple charge points or a charging hub
Then we design with load balancing and room for expansion.

Product documentation

What charging power do you need?

Charging power is expressed in kW. On a single-phase connection this is typically limited to around 3.7 kW; with three-phase, 11 kW or 22 kW is possible. An important detail: your car also determines how much is actually charged. Many models charge at a maximum of 11 kW AC, even at a 22 kW charge point.

Those who charge at home overnight often have enough with a lower power. Those with short windows during the day to top up benefit more from a higher power. We look at your driving pattern and at what your connection can handle.

Load balancing: safely within the limits of your connection

With dynamic load balancing, a sensor measures total consumption. The charge point adjusts its charging power accordingly, so the main fuse is never exceeded. With multiple charge points, the control distributes the available power. That often makes a charging hub feasible even on an existing connection.

Charging on solar power and with a home battery

A charge point that recognises solar surplus charges using electricity you would otherwise export. Combined with a home battery, the control can determine what gets priority: the battery, the car or the home. Which combinations work depends on the equipment chosen.

Installation from A to Z

We assess the consumer unit, determine the cable routing, mount the charge point, configure the settings and commission the system. In business situations we also set up business billing and management, in consultation with the chosen provider.
