## Starting situation This project overview shows a number of home battery installations we carried out in and around The Hague and Rijswijk. Depending on the property, the existing installation and the customer's wishes, we applied different systems. Starting situations ranged from a home with existing solar panels and a full distribution board to a new-build property with no preparation for storage. ## Chosen solution For every home we first assess the consumption pattern, the available grid connection capacity and the location where the battery can be mounted safely and remain accessible. Based on that we select capacity (kWh), power (kW) and the brand that best matches the existing inverter and distribution board. ## Work carried out Preparation of the distribution board with a separate, correctly protected circuit. Placement and mounting of the battery modules on the wall or floor. Cable routing in trunking or conduit, connection of the inverter and the smart meter, and commissioning with a full functional test. ## Systems and brands used Atmoce, Marstek, Sessy, Dyness combined with a Victron inverter, and BasenGreen. These systems were installed in different homes; they are separate projects, not a single installation containing every brand. ## Energy management and configuration After installation we configure the energy management system: metering at the main connection, the charge and discharge strategy, optional control based on dynamic tariffs, and setting up the app so residents can follow their consumption and storage. ## Safety and neat finishing Every installation is carried out to the applicable standards: correct protection, ventilation space around the modules, labelled wiring, neatly concealed cable routing and a written handover with an explanation for the resident.
