What is dynamic load balancing?
Load balancing distributes the available power so your grid connection isn't overloaded while charging.
With dynamic load balancing, a sensor continuously measures how much power the home or building is using. The charge point adjusts its charging power accordingly.
If you're using a lot of power in the house, the car temporarily charges more slowly. As consumption drops, charging power rises again. This keeps you within the limits of your grid connection.
Multiple charge points
With multiple charge points, the controller divides the available power across them. This is often what makes a charging hub feasible on an existing connection.
